How it works
At Liberty Marine Fuels we collect and negotiate offers on behalf of the customer. We will then present the best price or all prices to the customer. We will advise the customer about market conditions (is the market bullish or bearish? Avails of product etc.) to help make the best possible decision. Once everything has been taken into consideration and the customer has decided to proceed with the best offer, we will book the bunkers with the supplier on behalf of the customer. The customer will be paying the bunker invoice directly to supplier/seller.

North America and Houston in particular is a major area for Liberty Marine Fuels. During our more than 40 years combined in the bunker business, we have been arranging bunker frequently in United States and we still do. We work only with the main suppliers and we are confident that we will be able to offer you the best and cheapest solution whether it is in the Mexican Gulf, California or New York. Goes without saying that we also have vast knowledge of i.e. The South America, Caribbean and Panama markets.
Middle East
United Arab Emirates is the 3rd largest bunker market in the world with Fujairah as being the main hub. We have worked a number of years locally from offices in Dubai and have gained valuable knowledge and built good relationships with the main suppliers in the market. We can arrange by barge at Fujairah/Khor Fakkan range and bunkers by truck in the smaller ports at very competitive prices.
South Africa
Main ports in South Africa are Durban, Cape Town and Richards Bay where deliveries are carried out in port by barge. South Africa is also one of the main bunkering hubs for vessel crossing the Atlantic Ocean en route Asia/South America. For those vessels Off Port Elizabeth (Algoa Bay) is a good location to bunker with competitive pricing and low agency/port costs. We have built relationships with local suppliers obtained local knowledge from a number of years being out stationed in Cape Town. We are obviously also able to arrange bunkers at Mauritius and the west coast of the African continent.

Singapore is not only the largest bunker market in the world – it is also a main market for Liberty Marine Fuels.
